The problem

Forecasting shouldn't take twelve browser tabs.

Most weather data is public. Working with it quickly, and the way you want, has been the hard part.

01

Your data lives in a dozen tabs

Models on one site, radar in another app, soundings and satellite somewhere else. Every switch costs you the thread.

02

Fixed, generic graphics

Color tables, layouts and map styles you can't change, so they never match how you analyze or what your audience needs.

03

Workstations that cost a desk

Professional meteorology software is often expensive, hard to install and tied to one machine.

The solution

One canvas for every kind of weather data.

Models, radar, satellite, observations and NOAA products share one map, one timeline and one set of tools.

100+ models, from HRRR to ECMWF to AI

Global, regional, convection-allowing, ensemble, hurricane, marine, air-quality and AI guidance, with new runs as they land.

GFS and ECMWF 500 mb height and vorticity side by side

NEXRAD, TDWR and MRMS

Level II and III with dual-pol, every MRMS mosaic, multiple sites at once and radar from Europe.

Reflectivity from several NEXRAD sites at once across Iowa and Illinois

Every band, every RGB

GOES-East and West, Himawari-9 and Meteosat, with GeoColor and the full RGB library.

Observations and reports

Inside the workstation

Built for the way forecasters actually work

A quick look at six parts of the app.

01 / Compare

Panels, boards and workflows

Split the map into synced panels, line up runs side by side and save the whole layout as a workflow you reopen in one click.

  • Time, pan and zoom stay in sync across panels
  • Boards for each desk task
  • Bundles save layers, styles and settings together

02 / Radar

Storm-scale radar

Read storms the way you want: dual-pol Level II and III, several sites at once, 3D volumes and cross sections through any cell.

  • Reflectivity, velocity, ZDR, CC, KDP and more
  • 3D NEXRAD volumes and radar cross sections
  • VWP hodographs with shear and storm motion

03 / Profiles

Soundings, cross sections and meteograms

Click for a sounding, drag for an area average, or draw a line for a cross section. Meteograms and time-height plots show how it all changes.

  • Model, RAOB and ACARS Skew-Ts
  • Cross sections along any path
  • Meteograms and time-height charts

04 / Customize

Make every map yours

Build your own color tables and value ranges, bring your own Mapbox style, and load shapefiles, GeoJSON and placefiles alongside the data.

  • Custom colormaps, contours and readouts
  • Custom Mapbox styles and highlight areas
  • Shapefiles, GeoJSON and placefiles

05 / Archive

Rewind any event

Replay past radar and MRMS, step through ERA5 back to 1940 and 20CR back to 1836, and save events to revisit.

  • NEXRAD and MRMS archive
  • ERA5 and 20CR reanalysis

  • Custom headers, logos and alert headers
  • Scenes and viewpoint tours
